Owner, operator Ged Gallego is excited to be back in Las Vegas and finally open his own business, Excel Auto Service Las Vegas located at 5120 S. Decatur Blvd. #105 (just south of Tropicana Ave).

Ged knows that we are in a challenging economy but with his good natured personality and background in the hospitality business, he knows the importance of “exceeding customer’s expectations” and is banking on repeat customers and a positive word of mouth for his new business. Before returning to Las Vegas, he learned the dedication it takes to own a business when he opened the successful ROCK Lounge in the Philippines. Prior to that, Ged was in mainland China and held various key executive positions at the Xianglu Grand Hotel and Hotel OV in Xiamen, China.

Ged is excited to be back here in Las Vegas with his family and the many friends he has. As he returned to Las Vegas, only to see changing times in the hotel business that included hiring freezes, along with major staff reductions taking place on the Strip, he knew he wanted to change his career goals. His entrepreneurial spirits at an all time high along with his passion for cars lead him in an exciting new direction.  Ged decided that in order to gain knowledge and insight into the auto business, he would venture out and become an owner in a franchised auto repair company. With his management background and his hands on style of running a business, he was able to take his skills on a new path to success.

Although he was gaining knowledge with a franchised company, Ged knew that it was once again time to start to put his own business on a fast track.  He learned in the hospitality business in order to succeed, you must surround yourself with a strong team that is passionate about what they do and let them be empowered to make decisions.
